/ResurrectionResurrectionI have been doing a lot of thinking about heaven lately. I can hardly wait. This is when it starts. One day I will awake. I don't know where I'll be. The long night of sleep done. My soul will fill with peace. A light will flood the sky, Bright as you'll ever see. It reveals a person; Familiar to me. Or, in tribulation. A peace comes over me. The time of trouble done. At first, a mystery. A cloud is in the sky. A sense of destiny. A sight will fill the sky. That everyone can see. A host descends to earth. Children of darkness flee. Terror fills their souls but, There is no fear for me. With the redeemed I stand. I'm happy as can be. This is what i've wanted. This is my destiny. In the sky I will meet; Loved ones long lost to me. Times of sorrow over. From chains of sin set free. We'll join with the Saviour; The Lamb once slain for me. With the heavenly host, Life for eternity. |
